Bidhive and Harmonic team up for bid process digital transformation

Through the agreement, companies can accelerate bid process digital transformation to modernise their bid management capability

Bidhive and Harmonic have announced a strategic partnership to accelerate customers’ transition to automation with a joint commitment to simplify and modernise bid management work methods.

UK-headquartered Harmonic provides enterprise-wide business winning and project delivery services to some of the UK’s largest and most successful businesses.

Australian software company Bidhive has developed a Software as a Service platform that helps enterprise more efficiently manage cross-functional teams and concurrent bid activity.

The partnership will tap into the expertise and experience of each other.  Harmonic and Bidhive have together set themselves the goal of driving forward co-innovations to support enterprise bid process digital transformation.

Peter Blunden, Head of Business Winning at Harmonic said: “We have seen a rapid increase in consortium and collaborative bids where our customers have time and cost challenges through having to work with various platforms, all having significant access and security challenges, which directly impacts the quality of submissions.”

“Our partnership with Bidhive will enable our UK and global customers to work as one team and have rapid access to the right information, at the right time. This partnership is very exciting for Harmonic, working with an outcome-focused, technically advanced team at Bidhive, who perfectly complement our values to achieve transformational outcomes with our customers.”

Nyree McKenzie, CEO and Co-Founder of Bidhive said: “This is an ideal type of partnership for Bidhive as our technology roadmap aligns perfectly to Harmonic’s sector interests and bid and project capability focus.”

“We want to utilise industry expertise to realise new ideas and bring them to market quickly through a business ecosystem. This collaboration will benefit not only the two companies, but also to those that need to bid for work on a major contract, and do it in a more agile and effective way with others in their supply chain”.

The new strategic relationship will leverage Harmonic’s unique Business Winning capabilities in consulting services and training with Bidhive’s enhanced technology solution by offering complementary products and services to the marketplace.

Harmonic works with Industry and Government across a range of sectors including Defence & Security, Transport, Outsourcing, Infrastructure and Technology. Harmonic has won over £15bn of new business around the world for their customers.

Bidhive helps organisations collaboratively plan, manage and track their contract bidding activity all in one place. The platform is the first true all-in-one solution for bid management, and includes content, resource and project management, and much more.  Early adopters of the platform include Independent Clinical Services Group and Matrix SCM from the UK , the decommissioning unit of the Danish logistics conglomerate Maersk, WorkPac Group Australia and Waste Management in the US.
