Are there cheaper plans for people on my team who aren’t Bid Managers?
Yes. We are happy to negotiate plans for Enterprise customers.
We consider a Bid Manager to be any person who manages part or all of the bidding/tendering processes. So, if you register opportunities, track due dates, manage a team, or write the whole submission, you’d be a bid manager.
Similarly, if you’re an external bid consultant, you will be a Bid Manager.
But, if you assign people to contribute content to a bid, such as Technical or Subject Matter Experts, whether they’re internal or external to your organisation, they’re a Collaborator. They can use Bidhive as frequently or infrequently as they like but won’t have access to features like the dashboard, assigning tasks or Bidhive Academy.
What are the data limits on each account?
No limits on the number of contributors you can invite; and
No limits on the number of opportunities you can register, track, submit or export; and
We also provide every user account with 10gb of storage
Do you provide a free trial?
We’re big believers in providing value before asking for anything.
We’ll give you 14 days complete, unfettered access with all the bells and whistles, completely free – no credit card required. If you are an Enterprise customer and would like to run a live bid using Bidhive to support your business case, just ask us!
So that we can continue to provide world-class support, you’ll be asked to complete a short questionnaire when you register. We typically review all registrations and have the account setup within one working day.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express via Stripe Billing. For purchase orders or any other form of offline payment, please contact us directly.
Is our data safe?
Yes. We work hard to keep your data safe, secure, and private. Feel free to review our security policy here. As comprehensive as it is, we understand you and/or your IT department may have additional questions so please feel free to ask.
What happens when the trial ends?
First and foremost, your data is safe. If you decide Bidhive is not for you (don’t worry, you won’t hurt our feelings) we recommend saving out any data you’d like to keep. Following the 14 day trial, you’re free access will no longer be available.
What’s the benefit of using Bidhive over spreadsheets, documents & email?
Products like Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook for instance, are actually great tools in many regards. In fact, we’re not a replacement for those tools for all scenarios. Despite being powerful tools, they’re not purpose-built for managing complex bids across diverse teams.
It’s kind of like how you’d use a drill for a screw, instead of a hammer. You may get the job done, though less efficiently and you’ll be stripping out value.
Bidhive gives you the tools, visibility and simplicity of managing the entire end-to-end process. On top of that, we provide dashboards and insights that will help you continually improve your processes over time.
We’re an Enterprise client - can you help us put together a business case?
If you’ve got more than 100 users; a complex bidding environment and a requirement to streamline processes, we provide a full strategy and scoping session with our senior team. This is billed at $1,650 USD per day (plus applicable taxes). An obligation-free estimate of the time required for this process will be provided following a phone call with a Bidhive Account Executive. We typically estimate between 6-12 days.
What’s Bidhive Academy? Why do I need it?
Bidhive Academy is a growing online curriculum of written and recorded material for anyone who’s required to participate in the bidding process, and wants to sharpen their competitive edge.
Our mentors have over 25 years of experience at the very top of their game. And with a win rate exceeding 90% now is your chance to learn from some of the best in the field.
What if I need custom features?
We work with our Enterprise clients to build out custom features. If it aligns with our overall vision of the product, we’ll include it in the platform for everyone to enjoy.
Not an Enterprise customer? We actively encourage feedback so we’ve built in a feature-request portal. Got a great idea? Let us know and the community can vote for it. Ideas that have the most votes will often find themselves fast-tracked on our development roadmap.
Can I integrate with the tools we already use?
Maintaining a single source of truth is an ever connected world is becoming more and more important. Let us know what tools you use (such as Salesforce, SAP, Outlook etc) and we’ll map out possible APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to allow data to talk back and forth between them. Integrations are currently only offered for Enterprise clients but slated for release in Q1 2020 for everyone on the platform.
